Abarth 500 / 595 / 695 Uprated Pre-Bushed Front Suspension Arms – TMC By GodFlex

Upgrade the front suspension of your Abarth 500, 595 or 695 with a pre-assembled suspension arm solution designed to improve steering response, suspension control and long-term durability.

The TMC By GodFlex Uprated Front Suspension Arms are supplied fully assembled, with high-performance GodFlex polyurethane bushes professionally pre-fitted and new replacement ball joints already installed.

Available as a Left Side, Right Side or Complete Pair, allowing you to replace an individual suspension arm or both sides together.

There is no need to press out old bushes, source separate ball joints or rebuild your original arms. Each arm arrives ready for professional installation.

GodFlex Performance Series Bushes

The arms are pre-fitted with GodFlex Performance Series Polyurethane Bushes with a Shore A hardness of 85.

This uprated polyurethane construction is designed to reduce unwanted suspension movement and provide a more direct connection between the suspension and chassis.

Professional Installation Required

Professional installation is required for this product.

GodFlex pre-bushed suspension arms must be installed by a suitably qualified mechanic or experienced automotive technician with access to the correct workshop tools and equipment.

Improper installation may adversely affect:

• Suspension geometry

• Bush preload

• Steering and handling characteristics

• Tyre wear

• Component reliability

• Service life

All suspension fixings must be tightened to the vehicle manufacturer’s specified torque settings and procedures.

Always refer to the appropriate official workshop manual or manufacturer service information for the correct tightening sequence and torque values applicable to the vehicle.

Torque values must never be guessed or estimated.

Important – Final Tightening at Normal Ride Height

Suspension arm mounting bolts that pass through the polyurethane bushes must receive their final tightening with the suspension at its normal operating ride height.

The final tightening must not be carried out while the suspension is hanging at full droop.

Tightening the bush mounting bolts with the suspension unloaded can introduce incorrect preload into the polyurethane bush, increasing internal stress and potentially reducing its service life.

Where necessary, the suspension should be supported in its normal operating position before the final tightening of the mounting bolts is carried out.

Four-Wheel Alignment Required

A full four-wheel alignment must be completed immediately after installation and before the vehicle is returned to normal road use.

Replacing one or both suspension arms can alter suspension geometry and wheel alignment settings.

Driving the vehicle without first checking and correcting the alignment may result in:

• Poor steering feel

• Reduced handling performance

• Increased or uneven tyre wear

• Uneven loading of suspension components

• Reduced component service life

The vehicle should not be returned to normal road use until the four-wheel alignment has been completed.

This includes:

• Installation by a suitably qualified mechanic or experienced automotive technician

• Following the vehicle manufacturer’s specified suspension torque settings and procedures

• Final tightening of polyurethane bush mounting bolts at normal ride height

• Completing a full four-wheel alignment immediately after installation and before normal road use

Failure to follow the correct installation procedure may adversely affect suspension geometry, bush preload, handling, tyre wear and component service life.

Where a warranty claim relates to the suspension arms, bushes or an issue that could reasonably be associated with installation or alignment, evidence of professional installation and the post-installation four-wheel alignment may be requested.

Customers should retain their installation and alignment documentation.
