Side windows use tempered glass that disintegrates completely on impact, which is exactly where a heavy film earns its keep. At 4 mil Helios30 holds the fragments together while delivering 89% infrared rejection and 58% total solar energy rejection at 28% visible light transmission.
The nano ceramic construction contains no metal, so keyless entry, tyre pressure sensors and cellular reception are unaffected. Internal reflectance of 6% keeps mirrors and instrument reflections clean at night.
Pair with Helios70 on the windshield for a matched heavy gauge installation. Confirm side window VLT limits locally, and budget additional labour time compared with standard 2 mil film.
